"Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die."
This is very VERY TRUE! There is all this hatred and animosity aimed at another person but it is brewing and festering inside of YOU! If you don't find a way to purge those feelings by venting they will surely start to rot and cause other problems by hanging around.
Its only natural and a part of human nature to have feelings like resentment and anger but its what we DO with them, that determines whether it is going to affect us and the people surrounding us positively or negatively. Pretending like they don't exist or ignoring them and hoping they will simply "go away" is not a wise solution- as it never goes away unless you process it.
The best revenge against someone you despise is to be happy and healthy and successful. Which means freeing them from your thoughts and mind. And ridding them from having any further control over your thoughts, emotions, happiness... your life.
When your enemy comes to realize that you have come to the realization that "they just don't matter" and you don't care (truly) anymore- well, there is no worse feeling for a decrepid person, who loves schadenfraude, to have.
OH and if you want bonus points- if you can actually get to the point that you wish good thoughts for them. Well, thats a whole different level of warfare.

Everyday isn't a Hallmark Day...
Even the most fiercly optimistic, upbeat, greatful person has those days when it seems their train has de-railed off its tracks...
when your spirits are low- your fuse is non-existant and your stress level has shot up, peaked and boiled over 10 cups of rice cooked in a stir fry pan... and thats exactly what you feel like... one big HOT MESS.
Sometimes its a monumental castrophe that gives you days like these... but in my experience... its usually when you've been hanging on for a long time at maximum capacity and then something comes along and adds one more block ontop of your building of jenga blocks and you start trying to maintain your balance because that one extra item has thrown you all off balance and you feel like you are going to come crashing down!
Sometimes... maybe you need to. Or just take some time to let out all of your anxiety with a good cry- or venting and get it out! And so you can start out frest the next day. Never waste more than one day on it. The most BEAUTIFUL DAYS happen after the most severe storms.
Embrace your day, don't run from it. And know your sunshine will be back for you tomorrow, if you look at this the right way.
